(Pre-)Applying for a Pew Foundation Scholars Program

I'm pre-applying for the Pew Foundation Scholars in the Biomedical Sciences Program, a program dedicated to fostering the research careers for young innovators who are willing to take risks on creative approaches to human health. The UT Health Science Center is only allowed to nominate one application, so I have to make it past the internal selection panel first. Regardless of the outcome, I'm gratefulfor the opportunity to practice my writing skills for a more general medical audience, as well as to formulate and sharpen our research goals for our new collaboration with the Corey lab at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
